Payment of tuition and administrative fees

In this page you'll find the payment methods of several academic and administrative acts such as applications, request of pre-requisites evaluation, enrolment and registration in study programmes, etc.

Payment with credit card

Through the online platform InforEstud@nte you can make payments with a credit card in a safe way. For that purpose you should click in the image similar to the one below referring to redunicre. When you do that you'll enter an external payment system screen in which you can proceed with the credit card payment.

As you can see in the image below, payments through redunicre can be made with Visa and MasterCard credit cards:

PayPal payment

PayPal is a payment method conceived for online payment operations. With PayPal you can make payments online at your home or at any other place with internet access with security and without extra costs.

First you have to register in the PayPal website and insert the information of the bank cards you want to use in the online payments. Then you can make your payments in the websites that have the PayPal button. With your username and password you’ll be able to manage all your online payments worldwide. Whenever you make a payment via PayPal, you receive an automatic email giving you account on the status of the operation. You can check all your payments in your online PayPal account.

At the University of Coimbra, the PayPal payments are made through the academic information system InforEstud@nte – a web platform of restricted access to students and applicants.

If you’re already a PayPal client, you can insert your account details and proceed with the necessary payments. Otherwise, you’ll be asked to create a register.

PayPal allows the use of the following bank cards: VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Direct debit in bank account is also allowed but only in some countries.

Other payment modes for students/ applicants in Portugal

ATM payment

Choose any ATM machine and select the option “Pagamentos”, then introduce the following data:

"Entidade": name of the University

"Referência MB": identification of the type of payment and of who makes the payment

"Montante": the amount to be paid in EURO

Payment at the University of Coimbra Financial Service “Tesouraria”

Go to this Service and provide your name and application number or student number to the financial officer and follow his/her instructions.

Do not forget to always keep your payment proofs.
